    Dear Sandra,

In response to your question, a lot needs to happen prior to a case being submitted to the Spanish courts, some of the tasks are as follows: collation of documents, translation of paperwork, and a Power of Attorney must be arranged for any lawyer to represent you in a Spanish court and as you can appreciate, all this work does not happen for free. In my experience from what you are asking, this does seem very much like a scam.

    Dear Bernard,

In this current climate it is near impossible to sell a timeshare so I would not engage in any offer stating they can sell your timeshare for an upfront fee. Your best option would be to relinquish your timeshare.  Before advising you further, we would need to know more about your timeshare first, for instance is there a mortgage outstanding?, are the maintenance fees up to date? etc. Please feel free to contact us so we can discuss and advise you of your options.

    Dear Madeline,

Unfortunately timeshares are easy to get in, but not as easy to get out of.  As a general rule, the best options for timeshare owners wanting to cancel their liabilities are to have the contract cancelled only or to pursue a claim against the resort in court, both options have a certain criteria which can be identified by reviewing your timeshare documents.
