Dear Steve,
Further to your question regarding the Timeshare Investigation Board, I personally have not heard of such a company, I also tried to locate their website on Google to no avail. If you are familiar with their web address, there are some simple things you can do to see if there are any red flags:
1: How old is their website?
2: Where are the company located and what is the office address – put their address into Google maps and see what appears, does it look like a credible office that legal services would operate from?
3: Are they registered with their residing country’s authorities, for instance, Companies House if in the UK and also look at how long the company has been registered.
4: Can they present you with actual proof they can fulfil what they are offering.
If you come across any red flags that this company is not authentic do not engage with anything they have to offer, it could save you a lot of money and anxiety.
