We contracted with Your Premier Properties (YPP) 2 yrs ago to sell our membership, so far there is $522k sitting in a Mexican bank which they will not release..YPP contact is now unreachable and we suspect a scam..what can we do?

I am personally not familiar with this company, however, having a quick look online, they have a lot of negative feedback on them. As far as what you can do, will depend on where you are residing, you should submit a complaint to your Consumer Protection Agency and inform your bank although it may be too late to recoup what you have paid them.
Furthermore, we would recommend not to engage with any other company offering to sell your timeshare, nowadays it is virtually impossible.
