You can cancel your agreement if you are within the cooling-off period following your decision to purchase. As a general rule, most new timeshare agreements have an initial rescind period giving you time to reflect on your decision and cancel if you change your mind. If your contract is outside this period then the timeshare company are within their rights to demand payment from you.
