I have an offer on my Vida Vacations timeshare that is nearly twice the investment cost. The offer is from a middeman organisation called Tradingconnection.online, Sarasota, Florida, USA. They have a working phone number and a web site. Sent me a poorly drafted semi-legalise sale agreement that looks shady. Ever hear of them? Thanks , Lloyd Sanford,

We have had a timeshare for 42 years, And the freeholder has written to us saying that he has sold the complex and we will receive an amount calculated by him based on the amount he has agreed to sell it for to a private consortium less 31% for all of the dealings costs involved.
He has built up a controlling stake of unsold weeks in the complex and proposes to send us out a waiver to sign relinquishing our rights of ownership in exchange for a sum that he thinks is a fair price for our apartments.
Is this legal?

I have really had enough with my timeshare company. When I signed up with my timeshare company they explained it would be an investment and worth a lot of money in the future. Here we are in 2021 and my timeshare seems more worthless. I have asked my resort if they will take it back but they wont, so I’m stuck with a now unwanted timeshare and paying for something I don’t want anymore. Is there anything I can do?

We have been asking to exit for 5 years now and always get the same reply. You really have to be destitute before they will consider release. We only have 2000 points and have been told many times that we should never have been sold such a small number. We asked what would happen if we wanted to sell them and the answer was to convert to a timeshare week and then sell. Lo and behold we don’t have enough points to do so.
We are retired now and not fit enough to use the points. We have not paid the fees for 3 years and worry about the consequences.
We are not looking for money back for them we just want a release for our sanity.
