    Dear Clavan,

Thank you for your question about selling your timeshare, In current times, many owners want rid of their timeshare but the sad reality is, you will find it extremely hard to sell. I have seen timeshares for sale on Ebay for as little as £1? The best options for anyone wanting out of their ownership are to relinquish or pursue a compensation claim (will depend on what you own).

I would not recommend paying £1500 in an attempt to “sell your timeshare” in the current market. If you would like any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. (UK) 0800 520 2322/ (International) +44 800 520 2322 or use our online chat at https://timeshare.lawyer/

    Dear David,

Thank you for asking your question.

In response to what you have asked, It is highly likely that Festiva are trying to switch members onto a points system because due to the pandemic and resort closures for long periods of time, there is simply not enough availability to accommodate members.  “The Plan” within your deeded timeshare is something that will need communicated directly from the resort to yourself so we would recommend writing to them in order to receive a response back in writing as it is not normal practice to change what an owner has at their disposal without a new contract.   Should you require any further assistance feel free to call us on 44 800 520 2322 or use our online chat facility here: https://timeshare.lawyer/

    Dear Russ,

Thank you for your question on Timeshare Lawyer.

If a claims company has advised you that it is possible to make a timeshare court claim then I’m assuming you have a Spanish based timeshare with CLC.  You will find that any claims company offering these kind of services will require an upfront fee as there is a lot that needs to happen prior to a claim being submitted to court, and all third party services used to build a case will require payment.  Having said that, there may be alternative routes you could pursue.  For more information call us on 0800 520 2322 or use our online chat facility here: https://timeshare.lawyer/

    Dear Philip,

Thank you for asking your question on Timeshare Lawyer.

Diamond Resorts will continue to send you your yearly bill for maintenance fees until your ownership is dissolved. If you stop paying your maintenance fees, you risk the chance of your resort taking action against you.  The alternative to this would be to arrange a review of your ownership to see what options would be available to you.  For more information please call us on 0800 520 2322 or use our online chat facility here: https://timeshare.lawyer/

    Dear Frank,

My apologies for the late response as I needed more time to review your question.

After some research, according to their web site at http://www.redweek.com “Redweek Verified” as I understand it means the company of this site has confirmed key details of the property available for rent but the contract and payment arrangements are still to be negotiated. “Redweek protection” as I understand, means that by using their online booking system you have the added assurance of Redweek ‘protection’. There is a rental agreement, credit card payment and verification that the guest name has been updated and funds for the rental are held until after check-in to ensure renter gets what they paid for.

Redweek has been operating since 2002 and have many positive reviews on Trustpilot.  You can also read Redweeks’ Refund policy featured on their Terms of Service here: https://www.redweek.com/tos

If you feel nervous about using this service in any way then I would recommend finding property from another source.

I hope this helps you with your query and should you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Timeshare Lawyer 0800 520 2322.

    Dear Lloyd,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Timeshare Lawyer.  My apologies for the delay in coming back to you I just had to take some time to do my own research. If you are referring to this website https://www.tradingconnections.online/,  it seems that the office address is incomplete, (no unit or office number)  the domain (.online) not a .com and no company registration details are all flags that there may be issues with this company.   In our experience, it is best to not engage in a company that presents a website with no company registration information.

I hope this answers your question and should you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. +44 800 520 2322 or use our chat facility at https://timeshare.lawyer/. Thank you.

    Dear Mike,

Thank you for your question, we are happy to advise you.

We are assuming here that you are asking what can you do. The most effective way to get rid of your timeshare is by cancelling your agreement purchase or to get it declared null and void by a judge.

You would need to have a review of your membership as there are different guidelines depending on what timeshare you own, what resort and when you purchased etc.  This will need to be done by an experienced timeshare legal professional in order to receive the correct guidance. Feel free to call us and we will be able to advise you further 0800 520 2322.
