We had a judgement against our timeshare with Anfi being declared null and void by the Court of the First Instance in Gran Canaria and for the return of our payments to Anfi, with interest added. This was in January 2018 and was dealt with by Canarian Legal Alliance based in GC. Since then, apart from promises of the matter should be resoved “very soon” we have not received one penny.
The finance was with Barclays Partner Finance who I understand has been penalised for their role in funding these purchases.

Anfi claim still waiting

Dear Andrew,
I am sorry you are experiencing a long waiting time for your case to be finalised against Anfi. The problem Canarian Legal Alliance are probably having is that Anfi would appeal a successful judgement against them purely to delay your case. Furthermore, as you are probably aware, because of the sheer amount of lawsuits against Anfi, the Mercantile court ordered liquidation of two Anfi companies Anfi Sales SL and Anfi resorts SL. If you were contracted to these companies it is likely your case is registered with the administrator of those said companies. The good news is that the Anfi administration process is well underway, and once the administrators have completed all their work, they will inform the creditors/claimants that will be receiving monies.
Barclays Partner Finance has been penalised for timeshare loans issued by a Maltese timeshare.
