    Dear RJ,

Thank you for asking your question,

I have not had any direct experience with either company however, it is important that you check the credentials of any company you contract with to ensure they are qualified to fulfil the contracted services.  I have had experience with some clients who believed that law firms had confirmed cancellation and subsequently found that the contract was still in force. In the case of Fullbrook Associates, it appears that at least one member of their team is a qualified solicitor in the UK and their website states they are FCA regulated.

    Dear Linda,

In reference to your question the answer is unfortunately yes,

Timeshare resorts have owners bound by contracts and will continue to seek maintenance fees whether you are able to use it or not. Furthermore, if you stop paying maintenance fees, you risk being pursued for non-payment.  The only viable way to get out of paying maintenance fees is to consider dissolving your ownership.

    Dear William,

Our apologies for the delay to your question and I am sorry that you are feeling disappointed.

The first thing I would recommend is to see if your arrangement is written in your timeshare contract, that way you have grounds to complain and you can point out clauses as reference. If you don’t, and the resort are being un-cooperative, then you may want to consider seeking professional legal advice.

    Dear Karen,

First of all I have deleted from your communication from Anfi as this is public.

Thank you for your question and understand your concerns.  Before you sign anything, I would highly recommend that you have your documents old and new, reviewed by a timeshare legal professional.  Spanish legislation prevents timeshare companies from providing contracts over 50 years along with other rulings. Anfi have issued you a new contract in order to protect themselves from court proceedings in the future.
