I have been cold-called by a claims company saying I have a claim on a Marriott timeshare I bought in 2010, it’s a Spanish contract / floating week that are apparently illegal now they tell me ??
They want a £5000 upfront fee so pretty sure they are scammers.
I would like some advice on if any of this is true and if I have a claim or not.

My partner and I have a timeshare with Heritage. My partner passed away in February and I want to sell it. When I contacted Heritage they told me to contact a company called leisure and travel. I did this and they told me they would sell it for £5000 and I would get maintenance fees and £499 which I had to pay for advertising for 6 months. They contacted me and have now suggested they advertise it as open to offer and I needed to pay ad additional £349 to continue advertising. Is there an easier way to sell.
