Funds Seized by the Mexican Government on a timeshare sale Is it a scam?

I have started the process in selling my time share, but the funds have been seized by Mexican government, with very scary emails from the first email I received from them .

      Dear Mandy,

      I am sorry to tell you that legitimate timeshare sales are near impossible as there is no demand anymore. Any company offering to sell and provide you with a buyer, you must use extreme caution. It is likely that there is no buyer I’m afraid.
