We have owned a time share( Marina Park since 1990 a floating member we have not been allowed to use it over the past couple of years but still have to pay a large maintainable cost. We don’t want it any more and we’re going to take back our membership certificate this year but holiday got cancelled again. How do we get rid of this now burden around our necks as I retire in a few months. I hear the Spanish government are now closing all the timeshare properties anyway

Dear Caron,
Thank you for your question.
We understand your situation as we hear this story an awful lot that owners are finding it impossible to book their weeks. The Spanish government are not closing the resorts, but what they are doing is protecting consumers from illegal timeshare contracts and other wrongdoings.
