I bought a timeshare in Malta which had a 25 year ‘contract’ which was fine. But in Jan 2012, I was offered free holiday in Tenerife, only condition being that I would attend a presentation I was not allowed to take my friend in with me and the culmination was that I ended up paying £3400 to exchange to a point system. I later discovered that this contract was in perpetuity, and I have never used it during the last 9 years due to severe mental health issues . My son has used it once . We are paying out money for something we don’t use. What can I do?

Dear Mary,
I am sorry to hear that your health is preventing you from using your timeshare. Our best advice would be to arrange a review of your documents and timeshare history so a timeshare expert can identify what you have purchased & then can inform you of the options that would be available to you. If you would like more information, feel free to get in touch. (UK) 0800 520 2322 (USA) 1-888-3677055 (International) +44 800 520 2322 or message us on our online chat.
