What happens If I refuse to pay maintenance fees?

I owned in Tenerife and the contact says IOM law I am a British National what action can they take if I refuse to pay their maintenance charges? Hope to hear

      Unfortunately, as per your contract with the timeshare company, they are in their rights to pursue maintenance charges from you should you stop paying them and they could potentially take legal action for unpaid monies.
