Dear Susan,
We are sorry to hear about your husband. Unfortunately, we hear this a lot when you mention that the resort would purchase it back and then refused to agree to this in later years. Furthermore, sometimes when maintenance fees are unpaid for several years, the resort can remove you as an owner so you would need to make sure they still have you confirmed as a current owner. In order to confirm what your rights are and what options are available to you, your timeshare documents would need reviewing by a timeshare specialist.

Dear Mr Chauhan,
Welcome to Timeshare Lawyer and thank you for asking your question.
If Travel & Leisure Group/Confused About Timeshare promised to return your fees and they were unable to sell your timeshare and is written in the contract between yourself and the company then the answer is yes.
In our experience in current climates it is near on impossible to sell on a timeshare and do not recommend using services offering to sell timeshare, you only have to look on Ebay to see timeshares selling for as little as £1 pound. If you are looking to relinquish your timeshare liabilities the best options for a positive outcome are exit or a Spanish claim but this will depend on your personal circumstances to identify what timeshare you have etc. Should you require any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. 0800 520 2322.

Dear Lynne,
Thank you for your question,
I have to be honest and advise you that I have not come across this company called Timeshare Help Services & doing an initial search on Google I cannot seem to find them. Having said that they could be genuine so here are some quick things you can do to see if they are in fact genuine.
1: Do they have a website and how old is it.
2: Where are they located and what is the office address – put their address into Google maps and see what appears, does it look like a credible office that legal services would operate from.
3: Are they registered with their residing country’s authorities, for instance Companies House if in the UK and also look at how long the company has been registered.
4: Can they present you with actual proof they can fulfill what they are offering.
If you come across any red flags that this company is not authentic do not engage with anything they have to offer, it could save you a lot of money and anxiety.
If you are considering legal services, be extremely careful as there are a lot of unscrupulous companies out there. Should you require any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us.
