    Hi there,

Because your profile is named as “loan” I am confused whether you are asking regarding the timeshare loan or the timeshare as they are managed separately. The timeshare contract is managed by the timeshare resort, the loan is managed by the Bank/ loan company. Some popular names are Barclays Partner Finance, Hitachi Finance etc.

    1. Timeshare:
If you want to dissolve your timeshare contract, the resort will make this difficult for you as they will not want to lose your payment of maintenance fees. If you stop paying it, they may seek debt collection enforcement upon you.

    2: Timeshare Loan:
If you are asking if you can stop paying the loan connected to your timeshare, it is not possible without legal representation. If you stop payments, the loan company will initiate debt collection proceedings after a short period of time.

For both of these instances, it would be recommended to speak to a trusted independent timeshare legal specialist who will arrange a full review of your timeshare documents and history and can then advise you of the best independent options you could take. For more information, feel free to call us: (UK) 0800 520 2322 (International) +44 800 520 2322 or message us on our online chat.
