Signed contract in Spain with Club La Costa. Did not want to proceed but kept us there for 8 hours trying to sell. Finally convinced us in Feb 2007 to sign. My husband was ill at the time too and the pressure did not help. We finally ended up with a 27,000 loan with GE money. Made 3 payments but could not afford it any longer. They took us to court and debt was passed to their sister company to whom we now pay £4.00 a month. Still stuck with £49.000 debt. With interest. My husband went on to have cancer, was made redundant and then had to give up our home. We now rent and are too old to proceed with a mortgage. It was a total nightmare and wished we never got on that plan. I wrote to David Cameron about our nightmare. They destroyed our life!

Dear Christine,
I am so sorry to hear of your experience with Club la Costa, I can only imagine the stress this has caused you and your husband. As you may be aware, some CLC companies have now gone into liquidation and there may be options to claim against them. Initially, you would need a full review of your documentation along with your timeshare history. If you have not spoken to us already and would like to know more, feel free to contact us.
