    Dear Ken,

I have not heard of this company personally however, doing some quick research online via Google, I can see the company Fernando Y Asociados Mallorca Sl. was registered just over six months ago, you can see the registration here: https://www.informa.es/directorio-empresas/Empresa_FERNANDO-ASOCIADOS-MALLORCA.html

This tells me that this company has not been legally registered long enough to have the experience to carry out Spanish litigation and have proof of results, I would be extremely cautious before parting with any monies to this company.   If you would like further information on how you can exit your timeshare legitimately, feel free to contact us: (UK) 0800 520 2322 (International) +44 800 520 2322 or message us on our online chat.

    Dear David,

We hear of many owners in this situation, unfortunately, and yes we agree it is not right to have to pay for something you couldn’t use. Unfortunately, it is very easy to purchase a timeshare but getting out is very different.

If you are looking at the options to get out of your timeshare, the resort will make it quite difficult for you especially if you have not paid maintenance fees due to this being their primary income source.

In order to get the right advice to know your options, you need to speak to a timeshare expert who can review your timeshare documents and history and after studying your case, will be able to give you the options to consider. If that would be of interest, please feel free to contact us: (UK) 0800 520 2322 (USA) (888) 367-7055 (International) +44 800 520 2322 or message us on our online chat.

In response to your question, I can say that ECC-EU is one of the very few trusted timeshare companies that process exits and claims. Having a quick look around their website, here is a link showing their presence in the media. https://ecc-eu.com/media/ The Barclays story in particular is a fantastic example of them pushing the boundaries to help timeshare consumers.

    Dear Beverly,

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Further to you question you submitted, if the company can’t offer you what you have purchased it might be a good idea to revisit your contract to see exactly what you have agreed to. Our experience when clients ask for any kind of refund from a timeshare company normally follows with a negative response.

    Dear David,

Legal costs for selling a timeshare will vary from company to company, timeshare to timeshare, there is no set formula on what legal costs would be involved.

If you are looking to sell a timeshare, please use extreme caution. The majority of companies offering to sell a timeshare don’t amount to much due to little/no demand from consumers wanting to purchase a timeshare.

    I Hope this helps.

Dear Mandy, I am sorry to tell you that legitimate timeshare sales are near impossible as there is no demand anymore. Any company offering to sell and provide you with a buyer, you must use extreme caution. It is likely that there is no buyer I'm afraid.
