Hi, I bought a timeshare at Island Village many years ago (about 1985) we paid around 5k for 2 weeks and we used it maybe 3 times. We started to receive demands for annual maintenance fees and at the time we couldn’t afford to pay them so we let things lapse. I still have the title deeds for the two weeks, do I still have the rights to sell these?

I can no longer afford my timeshare week as it has gone from £500 to £617.62. I have had it for 17 years and now only have my state pension.
I have called the office twice, emailed 3 times & explained this and told them I have to give it up & asked how to go about this. So far I have not had any response.
Any advice would be great.

Hi there, I have an elderly aunt looking for some advice for her timeshare. She has a timeshare in Lanzarote and because of COVID-19 she lost her job and is currently struggling financially. I’m trying to find out the options for her. I have spoken to the resort but all they can do is offer a payment plan and split the yearly fee into monthly. Please could you let us know what could happen if she stopped paying it.
