Bought my timeshare 17yrs ago for £22k this was for a 1 bedroom apartment. I pay around £700 a year as a maintenance fee. The Porto Mare in Funchal is a high-quality place but I do wonder if our purchase was completely legally correct through RCI. We would prefer to get it off our hands now. RCI has advised that to sell would not be recommended.

We paid a deposit of 4000 USD , after 10 days we received a log in details to our account which Looked different when was told on presentation. Prices and properties etc. as soon as I got this account log in I send an email I want to cancel it. they say I had 7 days to cancel on a A contract. But how could I cancel in 7 days when I only received my package in 10 days. Is it any way to have our money back? Thank you

My partner and I have a timeshare with Heritage. My partner passed away in February and I want to sell it. When I contacted Heritage they told me to contact a company called leisure and travel. I did this and they told me they would sell it for £5000 and I would get maintenance fees and £499 which I had to pay for advertising for 6 months. They contacted me and have now suggested they advertise it as open to offer and I needed to pay ad additional £349 to continue advertising. Is there an easier way to sell.
