A timeshare company’s primary income is maintenance fees so if you just stop paying it, they will use all means to recoup what is owed.  Many USA timeshare resort contracts can be ended easily with the help of timeshare experts and some are very quick to finalise but in order to advise you of your personal options we would need to know more about what you own.

The CLC Group of companies do not register their contracts at the Land Registry. It would be beneficial to have your CLC contract and other documents reviewed to find out your rights and your options for a potential compensation claim. I have had a quick look at their website and there is no transparency at all, for instance, no information regarding their company registration, office, nothing, it also states at the bottom of the website home page “Powered by VSO Group” who is this company? looking on Google there is hardly anything about them which tells me this brand/website is very new and no actual reviews is a red flag. Please use extreme caution if you are considering using the services they offer.

    Dear Isabell,

We have had many situations similar to yours, which should not happen as the resort should have kept intact the holiday periods it committed to its customers. In addition, many customers have also complained that they have had to pay maintenance fees even though they have not been able to benefit from their holidays as per what was agreed.

The fact that the resort does not reply to your emails may mean that they have no solution or worse, they may have ceased trading.
We suggest that you obtain legal assistance as soon as possible to assert your rights as a consumer.
