Hello, I wonder whether you have any experience/knowledge of the Wimpen Leisure Management group for ElMarques in Tenerife. We owned three weeks at this resort which were purchased in 1995. Wimpen created a holding company so members could transfer their ownership at a cost (we paid £1000) to this holding company if they no longer wanted their timeshare. We did this and have received a letter confirming this relinquishment and stating that we have no past or future responsibility. This week I have been contacted by a legal company advising me that this may not be legally binding and offering to legally relinquish us for a cost of £6/7000. This has freaked me out and I don’t know who to turn to. Can you help?

I have an offer on my Vida Vacations timeshare that is nearly twice the investment cost. The offer is from a middeman organisation called Tradingconnection.online, Sarasota, Florida, USA. They have a working phone number and a web site. Sent me a poorly drafted semi-legalise sale agreement that looks shady. Ever hear of them? Thanks , Lloyd Sanford,

We had a timeshere with club le costa 10 yrs ago .
We even upgraded with them.
We tried to book holidays all over the world but we’re repeatedly told no vacancies.
We then opted out and had to pay £10000 to dl so but we had no choice as we couldn’t book a holiday with them .

I would like to sell our RCI Membership we bought in Las Vegas some 5-6 years ago. My husband’s medical condition and mine lately, has prevented us from using our facility.

I would now like to sell it.

Whilst staying at a Heritage Resort in Spain, we were approached by their manager to see if we wanted to dispose of our timeshare and offered a way to do so. It involved paying a lump sum and in return, they took our timeshare (2 wks in Tenerife) so we had no further responsibility and gave us a 3 year introductory membership into the Heritage Resort Club with the promise of a holiday each year at a one of their resorts and at the end of the 3 years we can walk away knowing that we have no further responsibility to our timeshare and no requirement to join their club. I am concerned this may be a scam. Do you have any thoughts on this?
