    Dear David,

In order to receive funds from the court, there needs to be a lot of work done to prepare the case initially, you would have been asked for documentation such as a timeshare Purchase Agreement, your payment history etc, in some instances a Power of Attorney needs to be arranged and a lawsuit submitted to the courts. These types of actions would not be done without you having contracted legal representation.

If nothing like this has been done, the information you have received should not be trusted.

If you need further assistance or would like to find out your options for the possibility to claim money back from your timeshare legitimately, please don’t hesitate to contact us. (UK) 0800 520 2322 (International) +44 800 520 2322 or message us on our online chat.

I understand your frustration here, timeshare resorts will not allow you to reserve a week unless your maintenance fees are up to date. The majority of timeshare resorts have not compensated owners for the inability to travel during the pandemic,  and are being extremely difficult, it has left many owners questioning their reasons for staying with their resort.

So to answer your question, yes they can do that I’m afraid and if you want to travel to your timeshare, you will have to pay the £980 requested. Dear Paula,

I am sorry to hear about your situation with the other couple.

I must inform you that any decisions made about your timeshare ownership need to be equally agreed upon by all parties. Having said that, although you have fallen out with the other couple, there is a possibility that they may agree with you regarding the possibility of dissolving the ownership. It might be a good idea to put your differences aside in order to discuss the timeshare and decide which route you want to take.
