We took over an RCI timeshare and turned it into points. We took o er from my parents who bought it in around 1985 in Tenerife. I would now like to get out of this with it without any monies as the rent is over £1,000 a year.

We were pressured and ignored asking to leave. They even went out to buy sandwiches and blocking the door so we signed up. Took our first week at the Malaga site which appears to be the main office and I kept telling them that our 17-year old sons were alone and they ignored us.

I bought a week way back in the early ’90s at Puerta Calma resort in Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria. I paid over £8k and it came with 2 years free fees.
Roughly 6 months after the purchase I realised it would be of no use to me. I contacted the resort repeatedly informing them I did not need the week I purchased and could refund my money or as the management of the resort could they resell it for me. I never got a response to my numerous requests.
Then I started to get invoices for the annual fees. Again I contacted them again I was ignored. In voices kept coming for several years then stopped and I’ve heard nothing since! I honestly believe I was robbed of the £8k?
