Diamond resorts want to charge for being unable to use whilst in lockdown

We contracted with Your Premier Properties (YPP) 2 yrs ago to sell our membership, so far there is $522k sitting in a Mexican bank which they will not release..YPP contact is now unreachable and we suspect a scam..what can we do?

I have an offer on my Vida Vacations timeshare that is nearly twice the investment cost. The offer is from a middeman organisation called Tradingconnection.online, Sarasota, Florida, USA. We want to get rid of our Sheraton vistana resort timeshare in Florida. Been in contact with sell my time share company based there in Florida, they will then advertise it for sale at a cost of $1998. That includes all finalising documents and transfer fees etc. Does not guarantee sale. Is this my best option to relinquish my ownership? I just want to be rid of it and stop paying fees when I’m not able to use it. Other companies here in UK are able to do it but don’t give an exact price of what it would cost.

Hello, I wonder whether you have any experience/knowledge of the Wimpen Leisure Management group for ElMarques in Tenerife. We owned three weeks at this resort which were purchased in 1995. Wimpen created a holding company so members could transfer their ownership at a cost (we paid £1000) to this holding company if they no longer wanted their timeshare. We did this and have received a letter confirming this relinquishment and stating that we have no past or future responsibility. This week I have been contacted by a legal company advising me that this may not be legally binding and offering to legally relinquish us for a cost of £6/7000. This has freaked me out and I don’t know who to turn to. Can you help?
