We bought two one week timeshare units on Mc Donalds Dona Lola on private re-sale in 2002. We paid our service charges and used our weeks until 2019, we paid 2020’s charge but could not use due to Corvid, we didn’t pay for 2021 as restrictions still applied. Mc Donalds continued to peruse payment and have now instructed solicitors who are being very heavy handed, Ideally we would like them to write off the disputed weeks and do a deal relative to handing back our weeks.

Unfortunately, there is no option to rate minus otherwise I would have given -10.
Bought a trial membership and paid over £4000. We only managed to take the complimentary week. I had made enquiries about the interval as I was planning to travel but did not due to COVID.
I was reassured that the trial membership has been extended. Last year I called to make enquiries about
2 weeks in Mauritius and I was told that the resort in Mauritius was not operating at the time of the phone call. I was being given a few other options but they were all either on the red or amber list.
In the last 2 weeks after numerous failed attempts to contact CLC / Interval or being pushed from pillar to post or being given wrong numbers plus and no reply from an email sent to them, I eventually got hold of someone who told me that although my membership had been extended my interval weeks was not transferred?? and apparently, Intervals are a “completely separate body”.

When I had made the enquiries last year at no point I was told that the interval had expired.

My argument was that there was only 1 direct debit for Trial membership which included service from the intervals. it seems that there was no consideration about the fact that the contract was drawn up pre- covid.

This is blatant theft/ fraud.

Hi, I bought a timeshare at Island Village many years ago (about 1985) we paid around 5k for 2 weeks and we used it maybe 3 times. We started to receive demands for annual maintenance fees and at the time we couldn’t afford to pay them so we let things lapse. I still have the title deeds for the two weeks, do I still have the rights to sell these?

Hi, I had a time share week in the USA, which back in 2018 or before, we contacted the company and asked to relinquish our week as we didn’t use it, I had no paperwork from them so I presumed it was all sorted, earlier this year I started to get invoices from the company for back fees, I emailed, tried to call then, sent recorded letters and no correspondence other than repeated invoices, I kept trying to email to ask why no bills for 4 years etc, Today I received a letter from a debt collection agency in the USA for the fees, Where do I stand? I only have the recent correspondence as not hearing from them for years, during covid I cleared out all the previous paperwork as thought it was all sorted and I no longer had the week. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Many thanks

I purchased a 6 berth apartment for 6 years have only used 3 years. They cancelled in lockdown 2020 and I had to cancel through covid 2021.
They say I have to take these weeks before 2024 but are only offering me a 4 berth in November.
I bought a 6 berth because of my grandchildren so a 4 berth would not be big enough. The week I have is in June so would not want November when it is cold and nothing in the area is open.
If they can’t provide me with 6 berth in summer time can I ask for part of my money back and the maintenance fee I have had to pay
